Priority Open Enrollment will be starting for Kindergarten registration for the 2009-2010 school year at the Redlands Unified School District Enrollment Center. Please note the dates when your child’s school will be accepting new enrollments. Come to the Enrollment Center between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on the dates listed below for your child’s school.

If you miss the registration date for your child’s school listed above, the following makeup days will also be available:

Prior to completing the enrollment process at the Enrollment Center, we strongly recommend that you obtain a registration packet (available at all sites and the Enrollment Center), review all the enrollment requirements, and complete the packet in advance. Packets will be available at all school sites and the Enrollment Center soon. Be sure to bring all the required documents with you.

Age Requirement

• To enroll in Kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before December 2, 2009.

Physical Exam

• Students enrolling for kindergarten and first grade must show proof of a physical exam. A copy of the physical exam (showing blood, urine, vision and audiometric testing) is required at the time of registration.
• The exam for kindergarten must be dated no earlier than 6 months prior to the first day of attendance at school and, at the time of the exam the child must be at least 4 years and 3 months old.
